  • Attendees:
    • Brian Kail, Stryker & Company
    • Diedra Silbert, Town of Ridgway
    • Preston Neill, Town of Ridgway
  • The crew has been working on Stair tower B, which is located in the northeast corner, and they are getting ready for laying the underground utilities. Backfill will start going in on Tuesday, August 17th.
  • The footers have been laid out over at Stair tower A, which is located in the southeast corner. Forming will start on Monday, August 16th. Then, the crew will prepare to place concrete and get the walls erected.
  • The structures for the storm water system will be installed very soon. A plan will be developed next week to go about installing the water detention/sub-surface manifold, the storm detention box, and other materials. Storm pipes will be installed running east down the alley. Notices will be put out to area residents informing them of the upcoming work of storm water system installment and the need to close the alley. The aim is to provide a two week notice.
  • A Revocable Encroachment Permit was recently approved by the Ridgway Town Council which will allow for the six inch water service line for the fire suppression system to run parallel under the Town right-of-way (sidewalk) for approximately 40 feet before turning and entering the building. The work to install the service line will take place soon.
  • The masons are getting scheduled to come in around August 23rd and upon completion of their work, we'll see a three story stair tower.
  • The signs intended for the corner of Charles St. and Laura St. to help prevent vehicles from turning onto Laura St. are expected to arrive on Friday, August 13th and will be put into place on Monday, August 16th.
