S2C Construction Updates - July 28, 2021

Attendees: Brian Kail, Stryker & Company Mark Clutts, Stryker & Company Leo Perez, Stryker & Company Diedra Silbert, Town of Ridgway Preston Neill, Town of Ridgway Ilene Bilenky The crew has started the foundation form work. A shipment of rebar is expected to arrive tomorrow. Stryker is hoping to pour foundations on Monday, August 2nd. Excavators are currently working on the northeast corner of the site. Starting on Monday, August 2nd, the structures for the storm water system will be installed. Containment pipes will go in first. The water detention/sub-surface manifold and storm detention box will be put in on the site, with storm pipes running east down the alley to Cora St., then turning north along Cora St. to the intersection of Cora St. and Charles St. The Town is currently working to pothole utilities at that intersection and later this summer or early fall will run a storm pipe across Charles St. so that water can get across. The geopier equipment is being hauled out now.  The building's fire service and water service are going out for redesign.  The excavation work for the foundation has started. In about two weeks, the footers will be put in and concrete will be poured.  The materials for the storm detention system are on order and some have already been received.  An image of the project schedule was shared.
